Jason McCoy Gallery is pleased to present its final online exhibition of the season,
From Dark to Light: A Holiday Celebration, which features over seventy works by just as many artists.

As this tremendously challenging year comes to a close, we would like to particularly thank all of the artists who have kept us inspired and who have shared their works with us in different capacities and through alternating channels, including our New York exhibition program, Artsy online exhibitions, virtual studio visits and artist talks, as well as the 2020 Drawing Challenge. All of the winners of the latter were invited to participate in From Dark to Light: A Holiday Celebration and we are already looking forward to the next round of submissions in January.

It was our increased virtual engagement this year that has led us to the exploration of two larger questions:

How can we connect and continue our rapport with local, national and international artists in times when physical spaces must either temporarily close or set a limit to the number of visitors?

How can we offer a program that will be of interest to a diverse and again, an international audience, even in times of Covid?

While we have decades-worth of experience in hosting public programs in our gallery, the virtual presentation of art remains a relatively new field. Going forward, it is our hope that we do not simply get to highlight artworks through our website and Social Media platforms, but that we succeed in initiating a true dialogue between artists and everyone who enjoys looking at and thinking about art. In addition, we would like to continue to support more artists than those we represent, especially during this difficult time.

To start, we hope that you will explore the group of stunning works assembled here, while looking out for our future events.

Thank you for staying connected!
Warm wishes for a healthy and bright Holiday Season and an even brighter 2021,
Jason McCoy Gallery
