Helen Miranda Wilson is a painter whose work has spanned from representational to abstract. Her earlier work consists of landscape and still life, with careful attention to skyscapes. Later work includes geometric style painting inspired from quilting and weaving. Wilson plays with layers of line and color, either stacking stripes or carefully placing freehand strokes.

Born in 1948, Helen Miranda Wilson attended Barnard College from 1966-67 and the New York Studio School from 1969-71. She resides in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Wilson is represented by Albert Merola Gallery, Provincetown, and Bookstein Projects, New York.
