Peter Reginato (b. 1945) is an abstract sculptor and painter. His work is organic and biomorphic, using color to add a painterly effect. Reginato’s sculptures are comparable to the drawings of Henri Matisse in a three-dimensional format.

Born in Texas, Peter Reginato attended the San Francisco Art institute from 1963-66. His work was included in the Whitney Biennial in 1970 and 1973, and is I. the permanent collections of The Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, and The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, among others.
